Ok so I open d newspapers today and the front page is the PM saying that blogs and sms' are treachery and it goes against the principles of the Rukunegara. Right so wat is d Rukunegara?
1. Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan which is belief in God.
2. Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara which is loyalty to the King and the Country.
3. Keluhuran perlembagaan which is supremacy of the constitution.
4. Kedaulatan undang-undang which is obeyance to law.
5. Kesopanan dan kesusilaan which is courtesy and morality.
This is actually for those bimbos who have been born in Malaysia and somehow are ignorant as to what the Rukunegara actually is. Sorry but english is the only language that I can translate it into.

Well I would have to say that things that go around in blogs and sms' are actually the view of the people at large...well those who blog anyways...and there are people who blog without any proper grounds as to the legality and truth of their accusations. Those people should not be allowed to blog but if they are able to clearly prove that their statement contains truth then I don't see why that should be called treachery. It should be something for the courts to decide fairly on. If the govt feels that the statement made in the blog is blasphemous then they should sue that person and if the govt wins then the person who has made that blasphemous statement should be banned from blogging. On the other side of the coin if the blogger can prove that the statement made contained any truth then why should it be called treachery again? It is something that the govt should try to solve instead of allowing this bad image to continue to tarnish the name of the govt at large. It is better to throw away a spoilt apple then to name the whole apple tree as bad.
I noe that perceptions are the most important thing when it comes to decision making especially when elections are around the corner but sometimes these perceptions are the best thing to look at. It gives the people an idea of what other people think. I mean we all live in the same country and we should think in union for the benefit of not only ourselves but also of our society at large. We should be thinking of our children and what kind of society do we want them to live in.
Everyone has something called common sense...so use it....I mean we teach our kids that this is right and that is wrong....if we can decide then I'm sure that we can do the same with regards to blogs. I think the best statement that the PM could have made was that the citizens should not be too quick to decide based on a blog and that the people should be warned that there are bloggers who don't give 2 cents worth about truth in what they blog on. This sounds like a more presentable statement rather than to declare blogging itself as treachery.
If the perception is what negates the truth then it seems that the truth no longer exist. I mean it seriously can't be that easy to negate the truth. In the world today it is so much harder for people to actually act based on just perception alone. It's kinda like believing what the salesman tells you and just buying a $5000.00 tv which is worth only $1000.00 js because the salesman gave you the perception. I'm not denying that this doesn't happen but the chances of this happening seems far less in the money chasing world today. So doesn't this means that the truth can not simply be negated just by perception. If the blog is giving the govt a bad perception then the govt can always show the truth and shame the blogger instead of avoiding the issue by saying that it is all treachery and allowing the perception to become truth.

Why are there so many documents that have been placed under the official secrets. There should be a few documents that should be open to the public. For example where all the taxpayers money goes to, what happens to all the toll money that we pay, and other stuff. I have to agree that there are certain documents that should remain a govt secret but there are some that should be made public. We as the people have the right to know what happens to our money that we have entrusted in the govt. We pay tax in the hope that the govt takes better care of us. We should be able to see in what way is this being done.

So the petrol prices hike and dats like the worse thing that has happened so far and according to the govt, they are trying to do the best that they can to help the people. Well here's a suggestion from a citizen...get rid of all d toll gates. If i were to travel from puchong to Kajang I would be paying a total of $4.00 one way which means i'm paying $8.00 just to go to work and back again. So then there's the thing about taking the public transportation, well that is a good idea for people who have inbound jobs that don't require one to travel but what about those who have to travel like insurance agents, direct salesman, they would be spending most of their time in the bus or train rather than working and this would mean that their sales would drop and ubsequently their revenue. I mean if there is a bus every 5 mins that is gonna take us to where we wanna go then by all means public transportation is good...but wait a minute.....there's the other problem of traffic jams...gee now how are we gonna resolve this....there really isn't any other way is there. Which leads me back to my own car. So i've already spent $8.00 on toll but I haven't counted petrol yet so dats gonna cost me another $30.00. Oh and I do have to eat so that means that I have to add another $10.00 to my expenditure which means that I roughly need $48.00 a day. So dat is like $1056.00 assuming that I work only 22 days a month.
So if my household income is $2000.00 a month then minus socso and epf i'd probably be left with $1800.00 minus the $1056.00 that I'd be using for the car I'd be left with $744.00. Looks like I have to delay all my bills or forgo payment to my car loan. Now which should I chose. Well which ever it is my kids won't have milk, diapers, or food on d table.
This is a bad time huh. It's a tight squeeze for everyone. The rich are getting richer and the poor seem to be plain broke. Those in d middle are becoming poor. I mean this is really hard to live. I noe that the govt has given some money in the form of repaying road tax and 20cu/m free for water but this is really not helping. It's really not enough. Please help us and soon too before we all go bonkers....loans for our houses and cars are things that we have already entered into and if we fail to pay then we will be left with a blacklisted record and not to mention no house or car. This doesn't really leave much money for us to spend on insurance, education, health....I beg the govt to do something and hopefully fast....please!!!!!!!!
